Kalanit Winery, boutique wine from the Galilee
A small family winery crafting limited-batch Israeli wines with a hands-on approach, personal character, and a deep connection to place.
Boutique winemaking, careful grape selection, and small production shaped around authenticity, hospitality, and balance.
Kalanit Winery was built out of curiosity, family craft, and a real love for wine.
For us, wine is more than a drink. It carries emotion, curiosity, and the possibility of discovering something new every time you return to the glass.
We work by hand, in small quantities, and with close attention to every stage. Remaining a small boutique winery lets us keep each bottle personal, focused, and honest.
Our grapes come from carefully selected vineyards, mostly in the Upper Galilee. Even when we know the vineyard and the variety well, wine still evolves in ways that keep surprising us.
One of our favorite stages is deciding whether to keep a wine exactly as it developed, or take it further through blending to create new layers of depth and character.
The wines change from year to year, and that is part of the beauty. Every vintage tells a slightly different story, shaped by season, fruit, and place.
Production stays small, up to around one thousand bottles a year, so we can keep a family scale, a direct connection to the work, and a high level of care.
Kalanit Winery is based in Karmiel, in the Galilee region of Israel, and reflects a boutique approach rooted in hospitality, local identity, and handcrafted wine.
With love, Kobi
